With only 25 days of school left, many grades are finishing up on our last art projects of the year! We have explored our Nature theme through and through and I am already excited for next year's theme, People and Places, where we will discover architecture and portraits.
Right now, the 3rd graders are working on 3D Chameleon sculptures. After spending and fun (and messy!) day painting and texturing paper, we are now using origami and paper cutting to create fun and colorful chameleons.

1st grade is working on clay owls. They are so sweet and all have such personality.
2nd grade just started colorful chameleons. They learned about blending intermediate colors using oil pastel.
Kinders are working on adorable chalk pastel drawings based on the book Arlo Needs Glasses by Barney Saltzberg.
